“1914” might be a key doctrine, or even what some JWs consider a “core” doctrine. This is how it was described by Watch Tower representatives, especially early in the year 2014 by way of explaining why it was such a prevailing theme in that year.

To other JWs however, especially those who are aware of the difficulties JWs have had in the past with “all things chronology,” it is not nearly as important as other doctrines, and they would not list it as a core doctrine.

So we wanted to leave a section here, just to help organize any articles that we produce or that are contributed on subjects that are not really related to the 1914 chronology. This section can cover a wide variety of other doctrines, some of which most JWs will consider “core” and some of which are just “odd doctrines” that appear to have been left over from times past and never fully cleared up. This will also be a section to discuss contradictory doctrines, or practices that seem to be at odds with Bible teachings.

Over time we expect articles on any of the subjects listed as bullet points at the end of this page. For now, we have not organized enough of these to begin linking to the list. However, we do have an excellent work contributed by Doug Mason, who has organized several major doctrines into a valuable historical study, especially of such doctrines as: The Divine Plan, The High Calling, The Christ, The Mystery, The Mediator, Memorial, etc. This particular study is called: “The Watch Tower Society Reveals Itself.”
