Index of Watchtower 1914 (Chronology-Related) References
[Incomplete… needs most links removed..]
The Watch Tower publications have continuously provided material that presents the various subjects related to the 1914 teaching. Some of the material may focus on Matthew 24, some on Daniel 4, and some on other aspects of the discussion, including the Kingdom, the 70 years desolation on Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar, ancient astronomical tablets, etc.
However, with a few exceptions, it is rare that any of the articles from the Watchtower magazine or other Watch Tower publications go into much depth about the actual doctrines. Most of the articles handle the subject as if it needs no further explanation than the depth of material that appears in “What Does the Bible Really Teach?” for example.
Therefore, it is not necessary to attempt to respond and analyze many articles. A very few will suffice to cover all the material that the Watch Tower publications provide about the doctrine.
The primary sources of material for presenting the Watchtower’s perspective will be from:
General articles currently on the JW.ORG website (presented by searching on the term “1914”)
Watchtower publications references from the Watchtower Online Library (also on JW.ORG focusing on past publications, very few published before the year 2000)

Older materials available through personal library, Kingdom Hall library, photographic copies, etc. Although the editors of the site, altogether have access to almost everything ever published, most of the materials we quote will also be available on the Internet for ease of reference and verification.

Although this site has separated the 1914 discussion into several major subject areas, many of the references in the Watchtower’s publications obviously cover multiple subjects related to the 1914 teaching. The same is true for the discussions that will appear under any particular subject. This particular “index” may be able to serve as a kind of site map to help link the Watchtower references to various subject areas.
For example Matthew 24 is it’s own menu heading, but “parousia” and the “generation” are based on Matthew 24, but have separate subject areas in the menu structure. The meaning of the “sign” would have been an additional possible heading, but is not included. Daniel 4 is another separate subject which can be appropriate for discussing the relationship between Nebuchadezzar’s dream and it’s potential relationship to the Davidic kingdom, and the interpretation of the 2,520 year period, the Gentile Times, and the reason that 607 BCE is tied to that Davidic kingdom. Here again, we could have included additional issues surrounding the 70 years of desolation, the 70 weeks of years, and related issues from Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Zechariah, etc.
